We inform customers that with the implementation of the New Mosaic Certification and Homologation System, Anatel began to perform the control of suspended certificates in an automated way. Thus, all products that have their approval certificates suspended for more than 180 days will be automatically cancelled by the Agency. We remind you that the cancellation of the approval certificate within 180 days is foreseen since the year 2000 in Resolution 242, standard responsible for the general guidelines of the certification and homologation process of Anatel. However, with the implementation of the new system, the control that was carried out manually by the OCDs will be carried out in an automated manner by the new Mosaic Certification and Homologation System. The new system was effected on 08/02/2017, therefore, the 180 days for cancellation will count from that date, the maximum period of which will be until the date of 08/08/2017. Certificates suspended for more than 180 days from migration to the new system will be CANCELLED. The same procedure will be applied to certificates that have been initially registered in the Mosaic system, if they are suspended for more than 180 days. Impacts 1. If the suspended certificate is not renewed within 180 days, it will be automatically cancelled by the Mosaic system and a new process must be submitted to Anatel, generating the need for new approval if the customer is still interested in marketing the product in the country. In the case of the need for a new approval, if the test reports are expired (issued more than 2 years ago), the customer shall carry out all the tests again in full. 2. After cancellation of the process, the customer will lose the number of the previous approval, and must make use only of the new code to be assigned by Anatel. Customer responsibility 1. Check which suspended certification processes should be renewed and enter the process with the OCD. Important information 1. Customers will receive the notice directly from the Mosaic system, stating that the Certificate of Approval is on the ideal date for renewal, that the Certificate of Approval is suspended after expiration or that the Certificate of Homologation is canceled after 180 days of suspension. 2.
