The National Telecommunications Agency – ANATEL published on November 26, 2020, Act No. 7280 that approves the updating of the Reference List of Products for Telecommunications.
From June 2021, Act No. 2222 will be revoked by Act No. 7280, making it mandatory to adapt the products according to the guidelines of the new Act that will come into force.
We summarized the changes:
- Change in the validity period of Certificates within the Conformity Assessment by CERTIFICATION modality.
- Certification based on Type Testing with Periodic Evaluation of the Product and the Manufacturing Management System every 2 or 3 years depending on the audience for which the product is intended.
- The Factory Management System Assessment or presentation of ISO 9001: 2015 will always be applicable for all products in the process of Initial Certification or Periodic Assessment (Maintenance).
Attention: Projects that are completed from June 1, 2021 must present ISO 9001: 2015 translated and sworn for all Initial Certifications or Maintenance.
