[:p b] The 22nd Edition of the Certification Forum for Telecommunications Products takes place, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday (10/2), in the auditorium of the Telecommunications Research and Development Center (CPqD), in Campinas (SP). In this edition will be discussed the 5G Technology, the Internet of Things (IoT), Industry 4.0 (incorporation of telecommunications in smart factories), and the future rules of conformity assessment and homologation of products that must be adopted by the National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel). The Forum brings together manufacturers, laboratories, certification bodies and experts in the telecommunications area to discuss the main issues of certification and homologation. Interested parties can register on the online page of the event. The meeting will be opened by the President of Anatel, Juarez Quadros, the Superintendent of Grant and Resources to the Provision of the regulatory agency, Vitor Elisio Menezes, and the Agency's Certification and Numbering Manager, Davison Gonzaga. The CPqD will be represented at the opening by President Sebastião Sahão. The certification and homologation processes regulated by Anatel guarantee the consumer the purchase and use of telecommunications equipment, such as landlines, mobile phones, modems or routers, with quality and safety.
